Seorang remaja lelaki dilabel hero oleh orang ramai apabila memecahkan telur di kepala senator Australia yang bermulut lancang.
Senator berkenaan ialah Fraser Anning yang sebelum ini telah mencetuskan kemarahan orang ramai selepas menuduh kehadiran imigran termasuk orang Islam sebagai punca serangan pengganas di dua masjid di Christchurch, New Zealand.
Kejadian berkenaan telah dirakam melalui satu video yang viral di laman media sosial, Fraser Anning sedang bercakap dengan wartawan sebelum seorang lelaki yang memegang telefon bimbit memecahkan telur di kepalanya.
Senator Fraser Anning yang terkejut dengan tindakan itu menumbuk dan menampar lelaki itu sebelum beberapa lelaki menangkap remaja berkenaan.
Untuk pengetahuan, tindakan Fraser Anning ini turut dikritik oleh ahli partinya sendiri yang kebanyakannya melahirkan simpati terhadap mangsa serangan pengganas berkenaan.
Melalui satu laman FB, kisah lelaki ini menjadi bualan ramai, baca kisah ini:
“Today, a 16 year old boy threw an egg at an unmentionable Australian Senator to protest said senator’s callous, racist victim-blaming of those slaughtered in the terrorist mass murder in New Zealand.
“The Christchurch victims included children.
“The response to the throwing of the egg was that the senator punched the teen twice, and then the boy – who was not resisting – was brought to the ground, crushed and held in a chokehold by four adult men. The senator was attending a political event organised by Australian neonazis.
“Let’s just record these men – so in love with the vacuous machismo of violent fascism and so insistent on their own “white supremacy” – were so terrified of humiliation by a teenage boy with an egg that they beat up a child.
“It is time for visible, public solidarity with everyone targeted by these extremists, lest extremism achieve its aim to become the new normal – a new normal that looks like slaughter, and like this.
